I would take negative reviews with a grain of salt. This has been one of the most accommodating and kind management companies I have ever experienced. I have lived in their upper east side location on 65th for the past two years and it has exceeded my expectations. Eva Mateova was super helpful with the entire process and very responsive via email/phone. You definitely get high quality for the competitive prices they offer so definitely consider Mautner Glick!

I have lived in a MG building for 2 years. We didn't have any problems with our unit during this time, so we experienced no issues with MG.



However, I have been in the process of resigning a lease with them and it has been incredibly difficult and unprofessional. We have waited almost 6 weeks to receive our lease. We were not informed if our applications had been approved, if we needed a guarantor, what the lease start date was, or what the rent would be for weeks until one day our lease showed up in the mail.



We have called the office over 10 times, leaving messages, with absolutely no response. We have sent over 6 emails with absolutely no response. If you hope to get a hold of someone over at MG, there is no advice I can give you.



During the 6 weeks that we were waiting, we still received rent slips (with the incorrect names and rent price). However, the super tried to come and collect our keys at one point and told us that he was informed that we were vacating. I'm not sure why we would receive rent slips if MG had it (incorrectly) in their system that we were vacating.



The entire experience was very confusing and also nerve-wracking as well had no idea if our applications would be approved, if the locks might be changed on the doors one day, and if we might be out of the street forced to find another apartment in a pinch (and if you know NYC apartment hunts, that idea is terrifying).



I am completely appalled by the way MG handled our situation and their lack of professionalism and customer service. When this lease is up, I will be sure to never live in an MG building again.
