        You need to take a number to order a $20 famous hot pastrami sandwich filled with pictures of famous people on the walls.

        I absolutely love this deli. If I were able, I would live there for the rest of my days. The atmosphere, hospitality, ambience, hosts/hostesses, servers and by GOD the food is outstanding. If there is a heaven, I pray that it has KATZ'S DELI there. For me this is heaven on earth, so it should only be right that HEAVEN should allow it where it will be appreciate for ever. I have enjoyed their cuisine for thirty years now and have yet to be disappointed with their fare. My significant other and I make the trip from Queens at least twice a month to take advantage of their fine foods. You may hear of other deli's who have the "monster" sandwiches, but honestly, they don't even come close to half of the sandwich you'll get at Katz's. I'm darn near ready to convert to judaism just to be nearer to the fine folks who put their all into making their menu's the finest in the city of New York. This from the man who was bought up on Soul Food. Yours Truly, Professor Punter.
