- Edmund A. Nahm, MD is a Board-Certified otolaryngologist who has treated thousands of adults and children with a variety of conditions related to the ear, nose and throat. He is a proud member of the American Academy of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery and diplomat of the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery.Dr. Nahm received his Bachelor of Arts from New York University and subsequently completed his premedical studies at Columbia University in New York. He earned his medical degree at Rutgers New Jersey Medical School in Newark, NJ. He then completed his residency training in Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where he served as chief resident. His research credentials are impressive, including several years at New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, where he designed a unique Comprehensive Cochlear Implant Questionnaire (CCIQ), a validated quality of life (QOL) instrument assessing bilateral cochlear implants. A recipient of the 2017 Hugh F. Biller Research Award, he has been published widely and has given a multitude of presentations in his fields of expertise.Dr. Nahm is affiliated with the New York Eye and Ear Infirmary of Mount Sinai, Mount Sinai Hospital and Mount Sinai Beth Israel. He is also fluent in Korean.

Provided by Doctor.comI had seen Dr Nahm once before during the summer for ear wax removal. Just like the first visit I had with Dr Nahm, he was very understanding of my problem, attentive, patient, and let me know exactly what he was doing. It's not the most pleasant experience having the vacuum in my ear, but with Dr Nahm's patience and skill, this procedure is much more pleasant under his care.

He also had patience with my child, by answering and explaining questions to her as well. Overall the staff is professional and personable. The intake is expedited and computerized. The office is clean and peaceful.
