Stuyvesant Square Chemical Dependency Services is a hospital-based drug and alcohol control program. It provides inpatient detoxification from various drugs and chemicals, such as heroin, methamphetamine, alcohol, benzodiazepine, cocaine and prescription drugs. The program also offers treatment for methadone maintenance and pregnant patients and patients on psychiatric medications. It provides 24-hour acute care, counseling sessions, pregnant patients programs, psychiatric services and health education. Stuyvesant Square Chemical Dependency Services offers spiritual care programs, medical monitoring, stress management and aftercare planning services. It additionally provides outpatient rehabilitation programs and chemical dependency education. The clinic operates in New York City. It is a Medicaid- and Medicare-certified program that is licensed by the New York Office of Alcoholism and Substance Abuse Services.
