Dr. Mary E. Davidian is the founder and Medical Director of Highland Ophthalmology Associates, LLC and has been serving the greater New Windsor community since 1997. Prior to that Dr. Davidian was a cornea consultant and staff at the world renowned Mackool Eye Institute in New York where she worked closely with Dr. Richard Mackool, one of the inventors of modern day ultrasound cataract surgical technology. She completed her Ophthalmology residency at the prestigious New York Eye and Ear Infirmary and attended the University of California at Irvine to become a Fellowship Trained Cornea and Anterior Segment Specialist. Her primary areas of expertise include corneal transplants, endothelial keratoplasty, corneal dystrophies and degenerations, ectasias (keratoconus), infectious diseases such as herpetic and bacterial keratitis, anterior segment trauma and reconstruction and advanced cataract surgical care utilizing Femtosecond laser assisted procedures along with advanced technology intraocular lens implants that can correct all ranges of vision. Dr. Davidian is often asked to share her expertise with other doctors through numerous ophthalmic publications that she has authored and courses she has taught, along with serving as a speaker and consultant for multiple ophthalmic surgical and medical corporations. She is the founder of the “Dry Eye Center of Excellence” at Highland Ophthalmology, a subspecialty center that offers the latest technologies and treatments for those patients who suffer from severe dry eye disease that is not amenable to conventional treatments.

Dr. Davidian is one of the most respected eye doctors in Orange County and the greater NYC area. She lectures at New York Eye And Ear in NYC and is a Board certified ophthalmologists.

She is often in the newspapers and has appeared on NBC TV discussing the latest eye care technologies.

Highland ophthalmology provides complete eye care services with four doctors. They offer the most flexixbxxle hours, including Saturday and evening hours.

She is one of the highest rated doctors by her patients.

Superb Eye Doctor

Dr. Davidian and her staff are wonderful! I look forward to my eye exam every year. They take such good care of you. Dr. Davidian and her staff genuinely care about you. I LOVE the new optical lab and her optician. There's a huge selection of eye glass frames to pick from. It's one stop shopping! I highly recommend Dr. Davidian and Highland Ophthalmology.
