Air Express Appliances

They did a great job! Came out on time and called earlier to make remind me of the scheduled appointment. They fixed my appliance for a great price and with exceptional expertise.

I needed to check my fireplace and run a regular maintenance on it. I called and was welcomed with great customer service. They gave me a discount just for being a new customer. They called giving me a heads up that the tech on the way . They came on time and finished the work in a timely manner. The tech was very professional. I couldn't be more pleased with my experience with Air Express.

I contacted Air Express last Tuesday to b/c my fridge was not working properly. The technician came out and said that we needed a part but that he did some work to temporarily fix the problem so the fridge would stay cold while we waited for the part. My husband stayed home from work while they did the repair. When I got home a few hours later, the fridge was clearly no better than before. I called Air Express and the woman said, "why didn't you call earlier?" It has now been over a week. No part, and when I called for the fifth time yesterday, I was told the part had not in fact been ordered yet and that she had told my husband the same. Not true! We are now starting over with a new company. Terrible.

They were suppose to come on a Sunday between 10-1pm (Their ad says "on-time, every time!" yeah right). I called out of work to be home for the repair guy. He never showed and never called. When I called the company, they said the tech was sick that day and couldn't come out until the following Sunday. I asked if they would comp the service call fee for not showing. The guy at the desk said that would be determined on the day that the tech came out. I started to get irritated with this guy because he did not even apologize or seem concerned that I had lost a WHOLE day's pay waiting for their tech. I told them I was not going to request another repair date unless they told me that they would not charge the service fee. Another girl got on the phone and yelled "Ma'am!" She actually had the nerve to tell me I didn't have to scream at her, which I wish I would have now. Being an unhappy customer who lost a whole's day pay and didn't receive any remorse from an incompetent and rude secretary certainly qualifies someone to be angry when someone answering phones gives you the run around and no apology. You better believe that this company clearly states that "customers not home at the scheduled time of service will be charged for a wasted trip." Apparently they don't feel the same about their customers schedules. It is also apparent that their staff and technicians don't feel it's standard procedure to call and notify the customer when a technician won't be showing up, or to attempt to resolve issues professionally. I guess these days it's not alright to request a financial comp when a company lacks customer service or reliability. Air Express Appliance doesn't seem to care that they can just not show up for an appointment, and then expect people not to get mad at their rude staff. Go somewhere else for your appliance needs. These people are ridiculous and unprofessional....
