My wife, daughter, and I ordered two subs, a salad, and onion rings, to go. The time stamp on our receipt was 5:37. I have a photo of our food being handed to me, time stamp 6:09. Over a half hour to make our order, there were five workers, and the place was not busy. I watched the whole operation, and if we hadn't been hungry it would have been comical. First they made the onion rings and let them sit. My daughter's sub, which had dressing, was next, so the bread was wet by the time we got it. At 6:02--that's 25 minutes after we paid--I heard someone say "Has anyone made the Rizzuto (my sub)? No one was goofing off, they just had no idea what to do. They were discussing who was going to do what: Want me to make that pizza? No, I'll do it. You put that beef on the grill. Can someone get those fries? . . . stuff like that. My sub was large and very good. My wife's salad was okay. My daughter's sandwich was ruined, but the dog liked it. The onion rings looked great, but were too cold and grease-congealed to eat. The dog liked them, too. Over thirty dollars for a good sub and okay salad. In the future I'll go to Subway, where three workers who each have very specific jobs can efficiently serve good food to their customers.

This is a very poorly run business with a manager who is rude, disrespectful, and treats customers badly. His name is Matt (refused to give a last name), and he not only got my order wrong but insisted that I should have known details of the menu, such as sizes of sandwiches available, when I was calling in an order and had not been there before. When I complained, he told me that it was my fault for not knowing his menu and that he was not responsible for telling me options; he offered and then reneged on the offer of a partial refund. He was nasty and arrogant; if this is part of a larger organization, Jersey Subs should look closely at his problematic behavior. His unprofessionalism will no doubt result in more problems for him, and I strongly recommend skipping this place and going where folks are nicer.
