Young's Bar-B-Que

Have been doing some traveling & looking for places to eat. A week ago I ran across a small little place that seemed packed. I always look to see where the locals eat to find the best food. It read Young's Bar-B-Que so the next week upon my return to this small University town I decided to try it. To my surprise it wasn't BBQ on Sunday afternoon but a country buffet. Surprise is actually an understatement. I walked in and a sign read buffet help yourself. A lovely lady explained how it worked, that I was to just get in line and get what I wanted and as much as I wanted. Not knowing what to expect when I reached the line I was, well just "wow". Fried Chicken, (not like fast food fried chicken real pan fried fried chicken) Fish, BBQ Pork, Cornbread Dressing, Rolls, Mashed Potatoes (real not instant), green beans, corn, real turkey gravy, milk gravy, sweet potatoes, salad... sorry I do believe I am rambling. The point is the place was very clean, the staff was so polite, and I actually felt like I was at my grandmothers after church for lunch. It was so good. Yes there were deserts as well. 2 of us ate for under $20. with drinks. I would highly recommend this little place.

They have great Bar-B-Que, as well as great lunch buffetts.
