MEDStart, LLC is a medical consulting company that was formed to not only set up new offices but also to provide assistance to the current practice owners and managers with an overview of policies and procedures, staff, training and fee schedules. In addition to these services, we offer staff with over 20 years experience. MEDStart's goal and mission is to offer assistance and services in all areas of your medical practice that will not only enhance your patient satisfaction but also help in any way with your staff retention and practice profitability. An overall operations plan that can do these things can also result in a more satisfying and less stressful practice for the owners. Since June, 2000, we have set up several practices per year and implemented systems to ensure a smooth transition for new or relocating physicians. So much is involved and the processes are so time-intensive in terms of phone calls, meetings, etc. that it behooves the physician not to spend valuable time on these tasks. There are several options for setting up the practice depending on the individual needs and status of the physician. Included are summaries of these levels of setup and the lists can be personalized to your needs. Contracts with definitive procedures will be negotiated at the time of commitment to the desired level. In addition to the office consulting services, we are offering a billing product to enhance and stabilize your revenue stream. The billing includes charge entry, remittance posting and insurance follow-up to ensure continuity, timeliness and accuracy of your reimbursement.
