Working with this company was a terrible mistake! When I first talked with someone from this business, who turned out to be the the owner, he was very nice and assuring that they could take me as a client and fix the water damage at my home. After this first conversation, things went downhill. They had an appointment to come to my home at 11:30 the next morning, and after calling the owners cell phone and the business office phone (each 2 times) when no one came, I finally got a hold of the receptionist, who told me that they would not be able to have anyone there until 3 pm at the earliest. The owner never returned my calls and each time I received his voicemail, the mailbox was full, leaving no more room for me to leave a voicemail. When they finally got to our home, they just looked around at the damage and told us that they wouldn't be able to do any work for 2 more days, leaving my husband and myself to remove all the carpet and carpet padding (upon their recommendation) to lessen the potential mold and mildew. When they came back to remove the wet drywall, they left a huge pile of wood, drywall, and nails in the middle of my driveway and instead of taking it that day, they did not come pick it up until several days later, after telling me that they would pick it up on 2 separate occasions... each of which they never showed up for. The contact I was working with, Daniel, was very rude when he talked with me and had an extremely bad attitude when I talked with him about when they would be working on our house and when asking him about the process of repair and getting a timeline of when everything would be getting done. Daniel told me that he would have fans and dehumidifiers at my house within 2-4 days, and 6 days later we had neither. When my husband told Daniel that he does not need to contact me any longer regarding our house repair, due to him being rude, and that Daniel should call his number when he needs anything, Daniel started arguing with him and said that they could just cancel our contract and that we would not be able to find another company that will be able to work on our home for at least 2 weeks. We did in fact stop working with RCI after than, and have already found another company that is more than wiling (and happy!) to come work on our home. I DO NOT recommend using this company!! They drug us along promising us that they would do this and that, never really getting anything accomplished. They do not have the equipment or the man power for the number of jobs they currently have, and therefore each of their clients are suffering. DO NOT USE THEM!! I would check Service Master, ServPro, PureClean, or any other local restoration company.
