The Davis YMCA is a nonprofit organization that offers various aquatic, health and wellness and child care programs. Its facilities include a swimming pool, basketball court, fitness center, computer laboratory, weight room, and men and women locker rooms. The organization provides employment training and mentoring programs. The Davis YMCA additionally offers before- and after-school programs and summer camp opportunities to local schools throughout Tennessee. It offers Teen Achievers, a program that gives opportunities to students in grades 7 through 12 to challenge themselves, set goals and work towards becoming future leaders. The program includes college tours and career and leadership skills development activities. The organization is located in Memphis, Tenn., and is a part of the YMCA of Memphis and the Mid-South.
