Family Practice
Dr. Solis has a decade of family practice and emergency room experience in the Valley with an ongoing special interest in Orthopaedic injuries. He’s been with the AOI family for over 10 years providing on-site orthopaedic injury care and diagnosis. He is a Board Certified in Family Practice.
Emergency Care
In addition to his emergency room experience, he was the Team Physician for the Rio Grande Valley Killer Bee hockey team from 2005 through 2009. He is currently one of the Team Physicians for the championship-winning NBA D-League Vipers.

Ultrasound
Ultrasound: Ultrasound decreases pain and improves range of motion by transmitting high- or low-frequency sound waves to the surrounding tissue and blood vessels. Penetrating the muscles to create a warming sensation, ultrasound promotes relaxation of muscle tightness and spasms. It assists in healing and can decrease inflammation.
MRI
An MRI, or magnetic resonance imaging, is an important tool for getting an accurate diagnosis. It shows the soft tissue inside and around an injured joint, which can more accurately determine the extent of an injury.

Our Director of Clinical and Surgical Services, Cissy, has been a part of the AOI team since 1997. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Nursing in 1995. She is in charge of all day-to-day activities of AOI, including managing the staff and organizing the patient’s and doctor’s schedules.
Arthroscopy
Shoulder Surgery The shoulder is the most flexible joint in the body. It lets us move our arms in nearly every direction, which can make it vulnerable to injury. Dr. Bill Snyder and his team treat several shoulder problems, from rotator cuff tears and fractured collar bones to osteoarthritis and fractured humerus heads. After discussing your medical history, symptoms, pain level, other injuries, and previous treatment of the shoulder, we perform a physical exam to assess the severity of the injury. Diagnostic tests, like X-rays, help to evaluate the problem before determining the very best treatment option. Shoulder surgery can be performed minimally invasively with an arthroscopy. It is our goal to get you back to your regular activities and life as soon as possible, with as minimal pain as possible.
Orthopedic Surgery
From core-strengthening and stability movements to exercises that strengthen the body as a whole, physical therapy for injuries reinforces and elongates muscles to promote healing and prevent another injury from happening. Our rehabilitation specialists work with patients on stretching, as well as perform ultrasounds and electrical stimulation to heal the body after orthopedic surgery.
Arthroscopy
Shoulder arthroscopy is a minimally invasive operation that utilizes a tiny camera, called an arthroscope, inserted in the shoulder joint to determine the severity of an injury and treat it. Dr. Bill Snyder is able to view what the arthroscope captures on a screen in the operation room to correctly diagnose and repair the joint. The small incision points needed for a shoulder arthroscopy allow for minimized pain and faster recovery time compared to other orthopaedic procedures.
Knee Replacement
Knee Surgery There are several injuries that could lead to needing an operation or knee surgery to heal knee pain. Learning about your options is key, and we are committed to walking with you through every step of the process. From a knee replacement to ACL reconstruction or meniscus repair, the severity and intensity of knee conditions vary. Prior to determining the best course of action, we will examine your medical history and habits, perform a physical exam, take X-rays or MRIs, and discuss your options and postoperative expectations. Quality of life and elimination of pain is our promise to you during the journey from injury to health.
Knee Arthroscopy
Even though knee arthroscopy is minimally invasive and comparably less serious than other surgeries, there are still risks. These complications may arise no matter the type of surgery: excessive bleeding, infection, breathing difficulties from anesthesia, or allergic reactions.
