Do not go there!! Very rude almost had my son in tears! No bedside manners at all! My son was very upset when we left there! He is 11 years old and is very respectful. But if he did not answer in a hurry he would get frustrated with him. He also has a learning disability so it takes just a little bit to process what he was asking! He got on to him and it took everything in me to not get him up and leave! Also I was paying out of my on pocket not any ar kids stuff! I let finish the exam and I could hear my sons voice cracking while he was behind the machine and I know he was trying very hard not to mess up and answer fast so he would not get rude with him again! Just for your sake don't go there!

Dr Faulkner (the guy) IS rude and he DOES have bad bedside manners and I have been a nurse for 15 years. I am not looking for someone to be my best pal but when I am paying you for a service, I expect a little more than I got. He has a "why are you here? Please go away" attitude. I will NOT be returning. My family has been going to Eyes for You in Memphis for years and I just wanted someone closer. I guess we will stay where we are.

Office visit

I have had nothing but good experiences from this clinic. They may be very busy when you go but seem to do their best to help everyone as quickly and as much as the can. Would recommend them to family and friends!

I brought my daughter in for her first exam because she was having trouble seeing the board at school. She was a little scared at first, since she didn't know what to expect, but by the time we left, she was saying that it wasn't scary at all. Everyone was very friendly and helpful, so we ordered her glasses and left. To our surprise, they called us a few hours later and said that her glasses were ready. We didn't realize that you could get your glasses so fast without going to Memphis. When my daughter put on the glasses for the first time, I thought her face was going to split in two from how big her smile was. She loved how she could see and even liked how she looked in her new glasses. We were very pleased and impressed, and will continue to go back every year for all of our families eye exams.

Mr. Dr. Faulkner is really rude and generally not a nice person .. poor 'bedside manner'.

Mrs. Dr. Faulkner is a lot better.

They are in business and it shows. The "after-care" you receive is a burden to them and it shows and chances are you will not get what you need.

I will be looking elsewhere from my optometric needs

I am the Mr. Dr. Faulkner in question. I do not agree with the comments in this review. If I didn't connect with this patient, then I apologize. Since they didn't state their name, I cannot do more than this. As to the poor bedside manner statement, I can agree that my style doesn't work for everyone. I am focused and direct in my effort to give each patient the best vision that I can give them. This may come across, at times, as being short, abrupt, or to some people rude, but this is not the intent. Each patient only has a few minutes per eye to achieve the best correction that I can help them achieve. I will push the patient beyond their comfort level in an effort to get them their best vision. I may have to redirect (which may be perceived as cutting them off) the patient to the question that I need to check and re-check in order to achieve the best outcome for the patient. This may be perceived as rude, but it actually is my being tenacious about getting to the best vision I can get for the patient. I always shoot for 20/15 acuity for each eye of each patient, and that takes pushing each patient beyond seeing comfortably, and involves some guess work, but that is part of vision, interpreting what you see as best you can. I can't make everyone happy, every time, but I will always try my best to give you the best vision that we can achieve for you, together.

Don't go there!! They are nice while taking your money, but once they have it... you get customer NO service.

My glasses were wrong but they did nothing to fix them. when I asked to talk to the Dr. they said the Dr. would call me. I waited several days and called back, I was told the Dr. had my number on her desk and she would call when she got around to it.

A month later she still hasn't gotten around to it. They robbed me for $306.00

Don't go there...Go anywhere else!!
