Gyro Grill

It was o k. But I was hoping for the Gyro experience. You know, the pita overflowing with hot (sometimes crispy edges) Gyro meat cut fresh off of the roasting skewer thing. Instead they had thinly sliced (I think they used a cheese slicer) meat that was sitting in a warming pan. They put a couple slices onto a pita already piled with lettuce, a small piece of tomato and some finely diced cucumber. There really wasn't much room left for the meat. By the time I got it to my mouth the meat was cold. (Yum, cold greasy lamb) I think the meat lost it's flavor sitting in the warming pan. The sandwich kind of reminded me of the frozen gyro kits you buy at the store. I was so excited to have a freshly made Gyro. I most likely will not stop in again.
