Manning Primary School provides learning opportunities to more than 450 students in grades two and three. The school s academic curriculum includes reading, spelling, mathematics, social studies and science. It has a media center that stocks a collection of picture books, maps and dictionaries. The school s reading workshop includes various activities, such as read aloud sessions and independent, shared and guided reading. It organizes various parent-teacher conferences and provides several essential instructional materials to students. The school also offers a character education program that includes student, staff and parent surveys, staff development, guidance instruction, character pledge and daily reminders. It is a part of the Clarendon School District Two and is located in Manning, S.C.
