Uncle Buck's

I like it because it has just 5he right food choices .

My wife and I had a late lunch at Uncle Bucks while on vacation in June. We didn't know anything about this place and glad we decided to take the chance. Everything we had was delicious and everyone working there made you feel welcome.

Meal was not bad, but wasn't good either. Chicken fried chicken was about the size of a hamburger patty. Waitress seemed in a rush. I wasnt expecting much from such a small town.

I was there for lunch on 9/19/09. I ordered the Virginia ham omelette. It was excellent. The home fries were very good as well. I'll be taking my motorcycle club there in a few weeks.The restaurant is in the center of town, with lot's of near by attractions. An all around wonderful experience.

I must say that I was fooled by this plase.We where told by a friend to eat there while in the area [we are from DC].We had one of the best dinners Ive ever had.To say I was shocked is putting it mildly.I asked where their chef was from and was told that she is local.Wish you would move to DC.Thank you for a wonderful dinner.And I promise never to misjudge an area restaurant again.
