Meijer Gas Station

Fixed a problem for me quickly and in a pleasant manner. We like the store and the staff. Excellent deli staff too.

The store manager, Kelly Porter, is downright terrible when it comes to his treatment of employees. As long as the store's bottom line is good, he doesn't care how underscheduled and poorly treated the employees are. He speaks down to the managers who then speak down to the employees... this affects US, the customer, because when the employees don't care about their jobs their work is affected. Last time I stepped foot in this store the shelves were understocked if not empty and when I asked an employee about this he passed on the explanation about the store manager. If the employees are made to not even give a damn, it's quite obvious to anyone paying shopping and paying attention. I for one will definitely be taking my business elsewhere and am passing this message on to everyone I knew who shopped not just at this location but at Meijer in general.

I called the stores for three days and got the same recording, "currently the service is busy answering calls" this went on for three days. Please be concerned about your custermers and there calls.

I have shopped here for 13 years and am sick of the bare shelves and empty hooks. This is the worst stocked store in the Meijer chain. The selection offered is pitiful. This store could learn something from the Three Rivers store! Definitely a management problem. No wonder Wal-mart is a retail threat.

I called the Meijer on Shaver Road to inquire about organic beef cuts (which they do not carry) and I was accidentally transfered to the wrong department. I spoke with a woman in the bakery who thought I was crazy for asking her about meat, and when I asked to be transfered she responded with an exasperated tone and the phone went dead. The second time I called (and was correctly transfered) the meat department clerk was very helpful, but it doesn't seem like too much to ask that all Meijer employees have good phone ettiquette.

I was recently at your store and found yoiur bathrooms to be lacking. Every toilet had urine or feces unflushed or no toilet paper. There are only 6 stalls you would think youn could keep them clean.
