deceit and lies are their methods
This dealership promised me in early December that they would be able to obtain the vehicle I wanted. I gave them a sizeable deposit and was very clear in my expectations. I told them multiple times I did not want any of the in stock models and they kept stalling me but all the while assuring me that they would be able to get the vehicle I wanted. By the last week of December they were so sorry that they could'nt get it but I should be content to take one of the selection off the lot. THEY ARE LIARS. I sincerely believe they never tried to get the vehicle and thought that I would agree to spend $30,000 on something I really did not want. I ended up finding a better deal and vehicle at a Mazda dealer but not before the January 1st deadline. Because of the lies and stalling I lost the sales tax deduction for 2009 and I had to pay several hundred dollars in taxes on my trade in vehicle because the title transferred after Jan 1. I contacted Honda Corporate Customer service to complain and they did not even seem to care. I am very glad I did not purchase a honda- how good would a warranty be from a dealer who does business with lies and tricks to say nothing of a manufacturer who condones such methods. I spent almost an hour on the phone filing a complaint with Honda corporate and I requested a follow up call or email and I never got a single response.
