Laurel County Public Library

The citizens of London, Ky. are so blessed to have this beautiful facility. I am particularly impressed with the statues of the children, outside. When you walk into the building, it's so obvious how much care and thought was put into the overall function and design. They have a beautiful children's section, complete with computers, books and play/sitting areas.Sometimes, I just sit and watch the amazement of the children using the library. They are so enthused with all the beautiful surroundings in their area.Past the children's area , to the left, is the Ky. room. This is my favorite place. I get so much comfort searching for information about my ancestors. Past the Ky. room is a whole line of computers that gives everybody the opportunity to have access, whether for school or just fun. There is an endless supply of books, tapes, videos and research materials. The staff is so willing to do interlibrary loans when needed. This facility is awesome! Thanks!
