M Deens Auto Service

My care was broke down down the street from Mr. Deens shop and I walked over an told the guys what had happened. They were SO kind and professional! The owner actually sent one of his guys with me to my car to try to get it going right on the side of the road! (Sadly it was broken beyond a roadside repair) but they did not even charge me for a service call or anything! I am having the car towed there in the morning and having them repair it for me. I personally have heard nothing but great things from the locals about these guys. Now, they use to be in a building closer to Southfield Rd, and since they moved here, I think they are getting backlash from the previous tenants in the building (from what I am reading). I have known these guys for a little while, and they are fair and friendly and do good work. Don't let a couple of negative reviews for one reason or another "steer" you away. Roger (the owner) will make sure you are well taken care of. I am VERY cautious about auto shops, and it is hard to find a good one, but I really trust these guys.

I took our 2010 grand caravan in because all the coolant had leaked out unto our driveway yesterday. normally my husband fixes the car issues but he was at work for 16 hours yesterday, he is an electrician and can fix anything, anyway the heat would not get hot either. I believe when they seen me coming as a woman they decided to lie to me like most crooked auto shops to do woman. I was informed by the owner that it was a bad heat exchanger bypass hose and that it would cost $280 to replace. I know I could have gotten the hose for $ 55 at auto zone and my husband would have did the 10 minute job himself. Except for the fact that he had to work three doubles in a row and we were afraid the car would overheat and cause major damage. I trusted the owner and had it done against my better judgement. He had it done in four hours and I brought it home. the very next day I had the exact same problem, I took it back and he immediately said I had a bad radiator cap?! WTF! I know I was swindled, the spill marks on the driveway were the same and the spill back under the hood was the same as the day before. This business is dishonest and should be ashamed....This is not the last they will hear from us, we are pursuing legal action as of tomorrow morning.

Awesome service, gr8 and friendly people. When i leave with my car i feel safer, bc i know they went out of their way.. esp Roger, he is really professional and devoted to his work. Also great prices, they dont rip you off like some places out there!!
