Overall

TL;DR VERSION: Their customer service BLOWS, especially the blonde lady that works there. They are great if you are there to buy but communication and service are severely lacking.

I wish there was a zero star rating. I will NEVER set foot in this building again. Allow me to elaborate on why;

4/9/14- I drop off my rifle for maintenance at Bullseye, as I had purchased my handgun there, liked the process, and they are close by. Why not? They seemed legitimate. They said the repair would take 2 weeks maximum. I asked to be notified as to how much the repair would cost before work was done.

4/28/14- This is the day that Bullseye claims to have called and tried to let me know that my weapon was ready. I was informed of this on 6/28. I had no missed call nor voicemail.

5/7/14- Contacted Bullseye because I was concerned that I may have been forgotten or they lost my number. Got in touch with someone at the store who said that the gunsmith had begun work on my rifle but was waiting for parts to come in. WTF? I asked him why no one had contacted me about the cost of repairs. He said that that was not how they did business. He said that their gunsmith just made the repairs and issued the invoice. I requested that he contact their smith and find out just how much the repairs were going to be.

5/8/14- Received a voicemail while I was at work the next day letting me know that the repairs were about 75$ and that my rifle would be ready to pick up the next day. Sweet!

5/10/14- Showed up on this day, Saturday, to pick up my weapon. This was my first experience with the blonde lady. I guess she is the shop owner/owner's wife. I asked if I could pick up my rifle, told her my name, and she disappeared. She returned and asked if anyone had called me to let me know it was done. I said yes, I was told that the weapon would be here and ready to pick up this weekend. She said well, it isn't here, he must still be working on it. I asked her and the other gentlemen to please make sure that someone calls me to let me know what is going on with it, as I had still YET TO RECEIVE A CALL without me prompting it first.

~~Fast forward~~

6/28/14- Yes, JUNE 28TH! I call Bullseye and politely ask if my gun is ready. The gentleman tells me that it is, and had been ready since 4/28. ORLY? So that is why it wasn't there on 5/10? Wayhey, At this point I am just thrilled to be done with this. I travel there and they hand me the weapon, I brought my own ammo to test it, so they let me on the range to make sure that it is working. I put 30~ rounds through it (it has a 100rnd mag) and the trigger begins to lock after each subsequent shot. Great. Still malfunctioning. So I return back into the lobby and stand at the counter for 10 MINUTES before anyone even approaches me. I COULD AND SHOULD HAVE JUST TAKEN THE GUN WITHOUT PAYING! THEY NEVER WOULD HAVE NOTICED!But alas, I am a genuine guy. I wait 10 minutes and the one nice guy there comes up and find out that it is still malfunctioning. He obviously doesn't believe me, and asks me to follow him to the range to test it. He confirms that it is still broken, and I follow him back inside. At this point I am fully prepared to pay for my repairs that have already been done (they did rebuild my mag), but that blonde **** comes back up to the counter and acts like IT IS MY FAULT. She interrupts me when I say I put 30 rounds through it and says "You are only supposed to shoot 5. It probably broke in there with you." WTF?!?! She then procedes to interrupt the nice guy and me and insist upon taking immediate payment before talking about any other repairs. I shut my mouth, pay my tab, and leave with my gun in tow. I will find someone else to repair it.

/Rant.

Great experienced staff

I love this place because the staff is very knowledgeable and straight forward. This is the place to go if you know exactly what you want and want a reasonable price. Only downside is they're always packed & store is old & fully stocked so not much elbow room if you take someone shopping with you.

Store its self is good. When ...

Store its self is good. When busy, staff can be less than pleasant, but on a good day usually good people. Seem fairly knowledgeable. Prices seem to range from mediocre to very good. Good selection. Class III dealer. Suggest avoiding the range. Not used myself, but a very good and trusted friend said he didn't feel safe shooting due to the actions of many clients.

Excellent service

The employees are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Working in an environment with deadly weapons requires a certain skill and aptitude that most people won't understand. I have been bringing my father to this range for over two years now because of the excellent service and selection. Keep up the great work and keep the shooting range in great shape, rifle and gun ranges.
