You are greeted by a sign that says something like this. "Because of the nature of our practice, the wait may be 2-3 hours. Please contact the receptionist if you have been waiting an hour." Not acceptable! If I am paying them for their services, they need to update me on the wait. My first visit I waited over an hour in a crowded, noisy waiting room, another hour in a freezing exam room with only a little piece of tissue paper to cover me. No one offered to show me the restroom, even though they know when you are to be examined they are going to push on your bladder. The physician I saw didn't even look at me above the waist! This second visit, same thing, except after an hour in the freezing exam room, no one had still come to see me, so I left. I'll find a practice that cares, and knows how to manage their office.
