We used Mr. White for the study on a Family Entertainment Center and Ice Rink in Colorado. We found the company to be professional and accurate with their projections. Now, after the facility is open and operating, their projections were dead on. They are used to working with all sorts of clients wanting to open recreation type of businesses and can sort out the ones who don't have a chance...saving them a lot of heart ache and money. I highly recommend WHLLG if you are serious about starting an entertainment business.

The CEO is rude and unprofessional. After my first interaction with him, I was left wondering how he has stayed in business so long if this is the way he treats all potential clients.



He made criticisms and judgements about the business idea and, especially, the location although I had expressed that I was not interested in anyone's opinion, but actual data. He did "offer to do me a favor" by providing some data out of his database at half price (from $750) and then he would tell me what he thought the data meant. He didn't tell me how old the data was that he was using, but was pretty proud of the fact that he had been doing this for over 20 years. Naturally, if you are trying to open a business you would like to have data from the last 6 months. At any rate, he followed this "offer" with another criticism about the location.



I ended the call with, "I will speak with my partner who has engaged another organization and make a decision from there." He responded with, "It doesn't matter where you get your numbers if it just won't work."



This fellow sent a follow-up e-mail as follows:





"Do you want us to examine the market to see if it is large enough to support your project? At the fee I gave you we don't make any money. Interested in making sure someone's project in greater Kansas City area doesn't become roadkill."







To which I replied:





"Thank you for your e-mail. We will not be needing your services. Good luck."



And he couldn't help but respond with:



"Actually Michelle, you need the good luck."



Even if the work at White Hutchinson is good, I will never know as the initial customer service was so appalling that I will be using other resources. Opening a business is not a small task and I don't want to try to work with someone who is difficult before a dime hits the table. The great thing about the U.S. is that someone is always willing to do the job with a smile on their face even if you have to pay them a little more to do so. I am willing to pay....
