Please DO NOT go here. I had ...

Please DO NOT go here. I had an awful experience here. I waited for 45 minutes in the patient room for the doctor. When he did come in, he stared at my breasts the entire time i was explaining my symptoms. He conducted himself in a completely inappropriate manner. He then proceeded to tell me that I only had ear wax in my ear. I decided to get a second opinion, because of his lack of attention (staring at inappropriate places on my body) and found out that I actually had a hole in my tympanic membrane that overlooked while he was staring at my breasts. I fully recommended, especially for women, to never set foot in here.

Please DO NOT go here. Dr. Don...

Please DO NOT go here. Dr. Donaldson and the staff at Primary Care North (PCN) are not just and fair. I visited them back in 09/02/11 for an ear problem I was having. I called and schedule an appointment at 12:15 PM. I filled the new patient form and my wife and I waited in the reception area for 20 mins. It was now 12:35 PM when the nurse came for us. The nurse took my blood pressure, height and weight and she used some equipment to look inside my ear to see if my ears were blocked. And then she left the room and told us to wait. We waited for another 30 mins before a medical student shadowing Dr. Donaldson came in to see me. It is now 1:05 PM. He asked me a bunch of questions but did not seem prepare on what he was doing or what questions to ask. The medical student stayed for 10 mins and told us to wait some more for Dr. Donaldson. Dr. Donaldson finally came in around 1:45 PM. By now it had been 90 mins since I first arrived to PCN. Dr. Donaldson came in, took a quick look at my ears and told me that it was an allergy reaction and prescribed me allergy medicine and then he left. He talked to me no longer than 5 mins, he was probably there for 3 mins. He had a computer on hand and was typing some information on his computer most of those 5 mins. My wife and I finally left the doctor office at 1:50 PM, after waiting and waiting for a long time which I only got to see the doctor for 5 mins. A whole month went by and I did not hear back from the doctor’s office. On 10/06/11 I received a letter from my insurance saying that my share of the doctor bill was going to be $172.58. The insurance was going to pay $115.42 and my share was $172.58 for a grand total of $288. I was completely shocked, $288 for a 5 min doctor visit. What did he do that cost $288? Yes, granted I was in the clinic for 1.5 hours but was actually seeing by the nurse and doctor for 10 mins. Is this just and fair? I am totally ok with paying to see a doctor; they deserved to be pay for their services but 10 mins for $288 dollars? This is just wrong. Please DO NOT go here. DC

Dr. Donaldson cares more about...

Dr. Donaldson cares more about pharmaceutical kickbacks than investigating and diagnosing real problems with patients.

Fantastic

Finally a doctor in the Kansas City area that treats you as a patient, not a number. After experiencing the "puppy mill" of Clay-Platte Family medicine where we saw a different doctor each time and were rushed out the door, seeing Dr. Donaldson every time is a welcome change.

He knows our families history, medical issues and asks appropriate questions. You don't have to start from scratch each time.

I HIGHLY recommend Primary Care North to everyone.
