Southside Christian Child care

i.e., A local favoriteMy son has been going to this preschool for a full year now. He absolutely loves it. I have not had any problems at all. He's been in the 3 yr old room. He will be moving to the 4 yr old room in a couple of weeks. His teachers have been nothing short of amazing. I love his past and present teacher. I feel they do everything they can to make preschool a success. My son has learned so much in the year he has been there. I was very skeptical at first because I was a stay at home mom and previously working in a preschool myself in another state, I saw things happen there that shouldn't have. But, Southside is the complete opposite of anything I have ever experienced. The director is Mrs, Cheryl. AMAZING. Love her. She is always willing to have a chat with you if you need it, or even to vent a little about your own things you are dealing with, with your child. Super great woman. I would recommend them to anyone., or highly recommended because

I would not recommend this facility due to the lack of organization within the building and among the faculty. My daughter had a different "teacher" looking after her each time I picked her up, which then made it hard for the staff to keep up with each child and what was going on with them from one day to the next. Also, there are many young faculty members working at this facility, which with all do respect, is not one of the most secure feelings for a parent. After leaving this facility, the staff could not as much as even find my daughter's blankets that belonged to her....lack of organization again...and I am supposed to trust them watching my child? They couldn't even keep up with 2 blankets...maybe if they had permanent teachers in their proper areas at all times, the communication could be alot better and children's belongings would not come up missing. Also, after leaving the director a note concerning the blanket, I never received a phone call or apology...unprofessional.
