well i think this stereo shop is just amazing, i compared all the prices from each shop around houston and i saw that this shop sells the same material and everything for a better price and they also give one year warrenty and i also went back 7 months after my stereo & radio was acting up, and they took care of it, if you need anything, i really prefer this shop.

I went to this business in Apr '11 to have the original auto tint removed/replaced in my car, as my old tint was in need of replacement. R&R was hawking a “Sale”, and I happened to be in need of that service at that time. When I finally picked up my car, I had to point out to them that they had not replaced some rear seat lamp fixtures properly, and that they did not vacuum the car to remove the shards of the old tint that had been scraped off the windows. - poor quality control. In the end, the final tint product appeared satisfactory to me. Six months later, during my annual TX vehicle inspection, I was told that the tint did would not pass inspection because the installed tint was 19%, darker than the Tx state law minimum of 25% which went into effect over a year ago. Problem is – they were not professional and upfront with me to advise me that the product they would provide would not pass state law. As I said, the law changed September 2010. When I presented the matter to them today (10/27/11), I was told that they would NOT replace it because my receipt says “20% all around”. Further, their representative seemed to rather condescending and trying to put words in my mouth to suggest that I knew what I was purchasing – not so says I. I don't replace my car tint frequently, neither am I current on all changes in Texas law having to do with auto tint. I should have been told from the very beginning, that the 20% tint they were going to install would not pass the state's new 25% minimum? Lesson is 1) deal with reputable customer oriented businesses that cater to providing the best long-term value – I do not consider R&R Kustom Kar Stereo to be reputable, 2) If you have to tell them to clean up their mess - they do not take pride in the work product. 3) If the sales pitch sounds too good – then the final product isn't, just walk away. Caveat Emptor. If I had been told by these “professionals” that what the product they were going to install on my car would NOT pass a TX state inspection, I would have made an informed decision at that time – again I'd have walked away. 4) if anything is written on your receipt that was not stated/mentioned from the beginning - that's a clue that you may not be geting what you think you are - ask questions before leaving, and 5) I will not do business with this company again, neither will I recommend them to my friends and associates.
