All individuals with Sleep Disorders/Obstructive Sleep Apnea should be referred to a clinician with relevant expertise as OSA diagnosis precludes unconditional certification. A driver with an OSA diagnosis may be recertified annually, based on demonstrating compliance with treatment (minimally acceptable compliance with Positive Airway Pressure (PAP) treatment consists of at least 4 hours/day of use on 70% of days. Optimal treatment efficacy occurs with 7 or more hours of daily use during sleep. The driver does not report excessive sleepiness during the major wake period indicates OSA being effectively treated.

He is a graduate of King Edward Medical College in Lahore, Pakistan and completed his Family Medicine Residency at the Robert Wood Johnson University Hospital in New Brunswick, NJ. Prior to joining PromptMD, Natalie worked as an internal medicine PA at a private office in Connecticut. She is an active member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants. Natalie holds herself to a high standard when it comes to positive relationships with her patients. She prides herself on patient education and making patients feel comfortable.

Sports Medicine
School, sports and camp physicals help determine whether it is safe for your child to participate in a specific sport, camp, or activity. Sports physicals are usually required to start a new sport or season, and/or participate in extracurricular activities at school. Similarly, a camp physical is often required to attend camp.
