        Founded in 1957, Oakwood Elementary School serves more than 250 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes math, English, science and social studies. Oakwood Elementary School serves hot lunch to students under an agreement with the Department of Education to participate in the National School Lunch Program. The school has a library that houses general reference materials, magazines, dictionaries, biographies and atlases. Its child care program provides a safe and nurturing environment to students. Located in Glen Burnie, Md., Oakwood Elementary School is a part of Anne Arundel County Public Schools.

        I HAVE 2 SONS IN 1ST GRADE THEY HAVE DONE WONDERFUL AT THE SCHOOL ONE HAS IEP WHICH I HAVE SEEN A GREAT TURN AROUND WITH HIM MRS ROBINSON IS WONDERFULL I TRULY LOVE THE SCHOOL THE STAFF ARE GREAT I SEE A BRIGHTER FUTURE FOR MY BOYS MRS SMITH AND MRS STONE STREET ARE GREAT TEACHERS MY BOYS ADORE THEM BOTHMRS USEWICK ISA GREAT LEADERAS A PRINCIPAL THANK ALL OF OAKWOOD FAMILY FOR A GREAT EXPEREINCE FOR MY BOYS THEY DESERVE 10 STARS IF IT WAS POSSIBLE
