As a woman knowing little about cars, I needed to find a good mechanic I could trust. In the 15 years since John Chilson was recommended to me, I have not used anyone else. Though his location is a bit of a drive for me from my home in HHDS and office in Elmira, I always turn to John when I need car repairs or if I need advice about buying a car. He's helped me many times by telling me not to invest any more money in a vehicle which was nearing the end of its time. My family and I rarely buy a car without having John check it out first, and he has saved us from purchasing a couple of lemons. And his skill at diagnosing and repairing any make or model just astounds me. His fully-equipped garage is just 4 miles south of the DandyMart in Wellsburg; He has just expanded & remodeled to include another (supersized) lift and the machinery to do alignments. Because John is just across the PA border, I use Paul Bennett's Garage in Elmira for NY inspections, drop-in 8-5, M-F, little/no wait.
