It was good the people there is really nice and meet your needs. Very polite people, and very respectful

This salon is not a 5 star salon. Look at the huge chunk of hair that was completely missed!! I called to complain and got a terrible response. The stylist blamed the whole situation on me and wouldn't own up to her mistakes...... Terrible salon.

Okay, let me first say that I am very picky about who does my hair, as I'm sure most women are. This being said, I decided to look up reviews in my area to find the best hair salon possible. My first impressions of Posh Salon and Spa came from this review page, which gave this salon a 5 star review & 8 great reviews. I'm sorry to say but NO! By far the worst experience I've had in my 29 years.



Let me start from the beginning. I called Posh Salon after reading the reviews to see if I could make an appointment. You know what? It is very unprofessional to answer your business phone "hello" instead of for instance "Posh Salon this is ....." Being a business owner myself I believe great customer service is key.



Anyways, I was told they would have an opening at 11am so my friend and I took our time getting to the salon (it was approximately 10:30am when I called). When we got there at 11, there were 2 women working. One of the ladies was working on another customer's hair and the other was cleaning up from a recent cut. The first lady (whom was helping another customer) said to the other, "hey, can you do this girls hair?" obviously referring to myself. The girl says "no, I have a client coming in soon".

Let me tell you, neither of these women were very well presented. The one whom had just said no was dressed like she just rolled out of bed. I'm not trying to be judgmental but you feel more confident having a professional, well kept person taking care of your needs. Not someone who looks like she doesn't care about her own appearance.

So I then said, "should I come back later?" The woman helping the other customer says "No, I can take care of you". Okay...... I was a little nervous that she was about to start on my hair along with finishing another, but I said alright and got into the chair.



Now let me explain what I wanted compared to what I got. The day I came in I showed the stylist a photo (a woman with all red hair) and I told her I would like my base color all red with a few blonde highlights underneath. I then said, "hey, a weave of blonde highlights over the red would be nice". What are you picturing now that I've told you this? Are you thinking all red with some pretty blonde highlights? ME TOO!! Well, my hair did not turn out this way NOT EVEN CLOSE. When she finished I had a very large amount of blonde on the roots and a few red streaks with a peekaboo of red underneath, AND some large areas left untouched (mostly brown with some previous highlights from my last style) YUCK!

Oh and don't let me forget to mention the blotchy spots of red I found on the back of my head. Obviously she was in a rush to finish mine and get back to the woman currently under the hair dryer. Grrrr..



So, the main reason I am writing this review is NOT because of the outcome on my hair style. The reason I am writing this review is because of the response I received when I called and told her how disappointed I was.

Not only was she incredibly rude! She blamed it ALL on me! She insisted I did not give her a good enough description of what I wanted (Hello! I showed you a photo and explained it in detail). I do have a witness to this BTW because my friend was with me. I then realized she honestly believed it was my fault and that I would need to go elsewhere if I wanted this fixed. Even though I just gave her $75 of my hard earned money....



I hope everyone that reads this review takes into consideration that anyone can have a "Bad hair day". However, the way a business takes care of their customers says a lot. I will never return to this unprofessional salon. In my opinion this Salon deserves 1/2 the star they were given.

My first visit to Posh (which was today) I was absolutely thrilled! Ashley did my hair, and I couldn't be anymore pleased. I went in for a color and a cut and it only took an hour and a half and it is literally perfect. I asked Ashley to match my hair to my extensions and cut my hair to blend better and she did a perfect job. Also, I'm a pretty socially awkward person and Ashley was just so nice to talk to and she made me feel very comfortable in the salon. Which is a very big thing to me because usually if I don't get a very good vibe from the beautician I don't feel very comfortable trusting them with my hair. But hands down Ashley was wonderful! And the prices are great too! I loved my first time visit to Posh, and I will definitely be going back, and recommending to all my friends!

Really great! I went in there today. I am more than happy with the results. Ashley really knows what she is doing, and can do the more edgy work that I wanted done. She saw the photo I had brought, maybe once or twice and she had it down to a T. I will be recommending her to all of my friends that are looking for something out of the norm in arkansas. She can do anything you want, normal, or extreme. Perfect for everyone! Super nice, (not tense whatsoever) and friendly staff! AAAA+++++. this place doesn't know how good they are yet, but it will definitely keep progressing!

Ashley is an awesome hairstylist! The atmosphere is friendly and inviting. She really listens to what you want and delivers it. I will definitely be coming back!

Ashley at Posh is fantastic. I get highlites and the works. Many peolpe complement me on my hair and the color since she has been doing my hair.

Just went and got a haircut from Ashley at Posh. The shop is so clean. Anyyone that is looking for a new hair stylist should give Ashley a try, she knows all of the latest styles and colors. Walk-in's are always welcome and she said that she would gladly take appointments for after hours to make sure that everyone is taken care of at their convenience.

This is the best place in town! I am so glad I found this place. Ashley Wade is very friendly and great at what she does!

Posh Hair Salon and Spa is my favorite place to go and "de-stress." Ashley Wade, stylist and owner of the salon welcomes me in the door as if I am her number one customer and treats me like a queen. I can take her a picture of whatever style I am thinking of trying out and when she is through, my hair looks just like the photo I brought in! I love Posh Salon and would definitely recommend it to all of my friends! She cuts my brothers hair as well and does a fantastic job!



P.S. If you ever need an up-do...Ashley is your girl!

The stylist and one of the owners, Ashley Wade, at Posh is awesome with hair color! I am so happy with the way she colored my hair! You rock Ashley!
