Norman Quacks Chophouse

My wife and I decided to head to Norman Quacks as the food is typically good. However we have had problems with service with previous visits. Well I think this is the last straw. We wait 3-5 minutes to sit and there was at least 5 tables open. When we sit down a nice young lady takes our drink order and brings them within 30 seconds. I said to my wife I think it will be a great dinner tonight. Well 8 minutes go by and our waitress walks up and said, are you guys ready? No thanks for coming, or hi my name is XXXXXX. My wife orders the sampler platter, and i order the ribs and chicken. We also LOVE the bread and the basket was sitting there and it remained empty for about 3-5 minutes and so i put it at the end of the table to MAYBE get attention, NOPE so after 10 minutes i flip it over and stack plates on top of it. Someone on the way by grabbed the whole 9 yards and put it on the dirty dish tray. My wife and I are like WTH..... So we write it off, no bread for us tonight.

I've eaten here several times on the way from Minneapolis to Duluth, and every time has been a good experience. Very tasty food, fair prices, and a LOAD of books to view and read while your waiting or eating. They make their own fresh butter there, in varying flavors, to go on home made bread. Wonderful! Ask for their recommendations for what to eat, then go with that--I've been satisfied every time. Rick S.
