Worst experience ever I would not even recommend my worst enemy to go there. I bought a groupon in May for Marinas salon, made an appointment in July for August the name of the salon changed to NYC Panache no one informed me even when I called to make my appointment. I got there and the owner Marina was horrible. She rudely advised I must have bought my groupon a long time ago and when I asked about the free parking that the groupon advised of, she remarked shortly with 'oh well sorry we moved locations. She advised she charges extra for long hair but it was a touch up on my crown. Then she tried to get me to pay for toner to make the touch up match my current color saying that otherwise it will look brassy like what I have now. I told her no extras just do whatever I already paid for and I will do the toner myself. She laughed and said do you even know how to do it and I responded I will google it. Last November I bought a grouppn for dm salon best experience ever humble, respectful and concerned with clientele desires when I told her about them she said return her groupon and go to them if I was happy with them. Unfortunately was wah too late to return my groupon wish I could have.

She had a pompous attitude. Later an older couple came in she taunted them and begged for an air refresher an even gloated that she oversold a hairbrush to them. I agree they had poor hygiene and I was a little scornful, but for a business owner to react to clients that way was unacceptable. Later she told me she added toner because my current hair was too bright(doesn't make sense earlier she said was brassy and not bright), I assumed it was a goodwill gesture as a new customer and I was just in awe and frustrated at that point. I got my bill and she charged me for the toner I told her I did not budget for and would do myself and tax on it, I just paid it to get out if that place. She did a supposed power dry and claimed she's the best at setting hair and wanted to show of she only dried the frame of my face the back if my hair was soaking instead of showing off she could have dried the back to where it wasn't dripping. Everything was a add on with her, she over charged me when I told her I didn't want toner service she did it anyway and said 'oh well I thought you said do whatever'. I protested that I said do whatever I paid for only. Her haircut which she claims was the best in town looked like a mullet heavy on the top thin on the bottom. I called her to advise I was unhappy and left crying later posted my review on facebook and groupon and she texted on my phone me saying she will get her lawyer to protest my bad reviews of her.





Marina is Unapologetic and money hungry and I am so upset I was overcharged.
