It was time to get a new roof and we called East Coast Roofing to get an estimate. Mr. Barnes came the next day and patiently answered all of our questions and concerns. This was our first time replacing a roof so we had lots of questions and Mr. Barnes walked us through all the process. From the beginning to end of the job, Mr. Barnes kept us informed which of course, put us at ease. His employees finished the job on time! This company cares about their customers. When doing home improvements in the past, we had issues with customer service and people not keeping their word. Not this company. I am extremely satisfied with our new roof! I was told by previous customers... that I know personally, that this company is always very busy,and that it may take a little while before they could get to me. I did have to wait a few days before the estimate was actually done, but..... I decided to be put on the list for them to do the roof replacement. Well, I am so happy I waited on them. I can see why they are so busy, because they are "So Good". They were on time, very professional and worked hard to get the job done. My roof is absolutely beautiful. I highly recommend them!! We would highly recommend East Cost Roofing. I had two roofing quotes prior to contacting Bill Barnes for an estimate. The first two quotes, neither company representative actually climbed on the roof to take measurements and get the feel of the wood. They did the measuring from the ground. Bill Barnes climbed on the roof took accurate measurements and roughly knew how many pieces of wood needed to be replaced. We can say we honestly got a very good price considering the other two companies were outrageous. Bill Barnes and his crew did a outstanding job, they were very professional, mannerly and left the yard very clean as if no work had been done. East Coast roofing installed new roofs on both of my houses. They also installed new siding on one of my houses. All work was of the highest quality and I will not hesitate to contact Mr. Barnes for future projects. Mr. Barnes is an honest, "up front", and fair contractor, who stands behind his work. He came by my one house eight years after he installed the roof, because a strong storm had loosened one of the shingles. Up the ladder he went and he quickly fixed the problem..............there was no charge. All contractors say that they stand behind their work................how many will come to your house after eight years to attach a shingle, yet charge $0 for the service?

Ive used Mr Barnes-East Coast Roofing on multiple occasions,my own house,my fathers,and a couple properties I own. always a Fantastic job,great cleanup,to include using a magnet multiple times for loose nails Even after 4 yrs,I had some damage,i called Mr Branes,and he quickly came out,fixed the problem,and didn't charge me even though warrenty was past! When you hire a roofer there are some basic things you need: prompt response, quality work and a fair price. Additionally you want a complete cleanup, to be informed of any issues and in my case cooperation with an insurance company. And, as with any business you want honesty, open communication and follow up. I've dealt with East Coast Roofing twice: once for an emergency job after tree damage to my roof and also for a complete shingle replacement. Mr. Barnes, the owner got a great price on the materials and passed it on to me. I ended up getting 30-year shingles for the price of 25-year. In both cases the work was done quickly and the clean-up was nothing short of miraculous. I wholeheartedly recommend this business.

A storm caused severe roof damage. The owner of this company came within minutes of my frantic call; to cover the hole with a tarp. It was 8:30 at night when he arrived. Within a week I had a brand new roof. High quality work, excellent price, and fast service. I highly recommend this company for all your roofing needs.

S.H. Barnes, East Coast Roofing put a new roof on our house in the last recent years, we ordered 30 year shingles and we received the right color and brand. As soon as the products were delivered the work was started and finished in a timely matter. I would recommend this roofing company as the order and work was completed to our satisfaction. price was reasonable and Mr Barns was helpful , profession and explained everything that need to be done.

Souther H. Barnes, East Coast Roofing put a roof on our house. They were to put 25 Year Shingles on our home but instead used 20 year shingles. The shingles were installed incorrectly with rows not lining up, etc. The drip edge was installed incorrectly with gaps in between sections. Obviously They didn't know what they (the crew) were doing. He, S.H. Barnes, promised to make it right and sent over the new materials. They , however, sat in my backyard for two (2) years. We sued S.H. Barnes and East Coast Roofing and won the sum of $3100.00. He never showed up in court and never paid the judgement againt him and his company. Please, before you let this person put a roof on your home, come by my house and see what kind of work he does. Both front and rear. My address is 2213 Wingate Road, Fayetteville, NC 28304. This guy ripped my wife and I off and does not care.
