This place really wowed me! I called at 2am on a Tuesday night and a cheerful voice answered the phone. My dogs had gotten in a fight and one was bleeding pretty badly. The receptionist calmed me down over the phone and then encouraged me to come in. I was worried I would be judged and I was really upset that my dogs had been fighting. When I arrived, the vet immediately made my dog more comfortable, giving him an injection for pain. The vet was expert at calming me down, not making me feel judged, and explaining everything my dog needed. They provided a reasonable estimate, considering the hour, and were quick to fix my dog, who needed many stitches and antibiotics. I was also impressed that they really seemed to work with me on the money. They really seeemed to try to do only essential things. For instance, the vet tried to fix the wounds using a local anesthetic to avoid more costly general anesthesia. The vet also asked about what medications I had at home already to see if I could use some of what I already had. The nurses (and I was surprised that there were several around at this hour) were incredibly friendly too. There was coffee and tea in the waiting room and the hospital smelled clean and looked nice. There were even beautiful original pieces of artwork by local artists hanging for display. There was a nice fishtank and good magazines. A day or two after I left, the vet personally called me to check on my dogs! I couldn't believe it. If you have an emergency with your pet, don't hesistate to go to this place!

This place is amazing! My dog ate a sock and was vomiting for three days. My vet had taken X-rays and said everything was fine. He was just getting weaker and weaker so I took him to this emergency clinic. They were incredibly friendly and compassionate. The vet immediately recognized the problem. She spent time to show me the X-rays and went over a very reasonable estimate. She had to do surgery to get the sock out. As soon as the surgery was over, she called me. She also called me a few days later to be sure he was still doing well. I hope I never have to go back, but I cannot imagine a better place to take a pet for an emergency. They really seemed to care.
