        Excellent restaurants Simply Stunning the food is great. The service is awesome. The breakfast is great the lunches superb! I just don't know what else to say about it it's is so great

        A nice stop-over while on the road. Food was tasty, with some unique choices. They had good coffee, too. I had the Greek yogurt w/ figs &walnuts, she had the egg breakfast.

        The server was nice, attentive & he offered me a to-go version of my coffee, which was super appreciated. This place won't blow your lid, but it's clean, friendly, new-ish feeling, and the food def does the job.

        We enjoyed our breakfast here. Prices were good, with lots of great breakfast options (including crepes!) - our meal was served quickly and it was better than average for diner type food. The atmosphere is nicer than your typical diner, too - some nice design touches.

        Whoever wrote the previous rev...

        Whoever wrote the previous review must have been one of the owners. This place is filthy and management IE owners do not care. The service is terrible the crappy food is overpriced and the owner is a hothead that is rude. The board of health is my next call. Beware.

        Opened in 1987 by Paul and George Karas, Alexander's Restaurant serves breakfast, lunch and dinner and features fresh fish and home-cooked meals made fresh on the premises. It also features a range of desserts and ice cream creations. It also has a full-service bar for cocktails. The restaurant s specialties include baby back ribs, charbroiled steaks and prime ribs, as well as a variety of burgers. Other foods items include appetizers, fresh salads, sandwiches, Pizza, pastas and fish. In addition, Alexander's Restaurant also sells gift cards. The eatery also features a children s menu that includes eggs, chocolate chip pancakes, French toast, biscuits and gravy, cereal bowls, cheeseburgers, chicken fingers, grilled cheese and pizza bread. Alexander's Restaurant is located in Elgin, Ill.
