Founded in 1931, Clegern Elementary School is a parental choice open enrollment school that serves more than 200 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The elementary school s curriculum includes language arts, mathematics, social studies, science, language and fine arts. The school also conducts computer application classes. Additionally, Clegern Elementary School provides instructional lessons in music, art, physical education, Spanish and gifted education. The elementary school organizes several activity groups and social and cultural events. The school has a media center that provides access to online articles, newspapers and encyclopedias, as well as pictures, charts, atlases and reference materials.
