This is the home of the Detroit Lions. Parking will cost you anywhere between 20.00 and 50.00. If you stay in a hotel within 10 miles, take an Uber. You will pay about the same as you would to park, but without the hassle. There are activities outside of Ford Field before regular season games, so try to get to the stadium about 2 hours before kickoff. The line for security rivals airport TSA. I have missed kickoff 2 times because of long unnecessary delays. Do not bring a bag (purse) larger than your hand, otherwise they will take it, check it and give you a clear gallon bag. The second option is they make you go back to your car. So, moral of the story, leave your big purse at home. National Coney is the bomb.com. THE best coney. If you want craft beer, instead of low grade draft, go around to section 121. Expect to pay 8.50-13.00 for a beer. Coney dogs are 10.00 for 2 dogs and a small bag of chips.

Horrible place for a concert. Not because of the venue....because of the LACK of traffic directing and flow. Two hours to go 6 or 8 blocks. Ramps to expressways blocked off along with service drives. Completely unorganized and unprepared for so many people. They opened their doors in 2002. They should have a well oiled traffic plan worked out by now. NEVER AGAIN for a concert!
