        Des Moines Abraham Lincoln High School, located in Des Moines, Iowa, offers classes to more than 1,700 students in grades nine through 12. Its courses include English, social studies, mathematics, science, physical education, health education, humanities, computer science and a choice of more than 20 electives. Advanced placement courses are available for students who wish to earn college credit while in high school. Its resources include math, science, computer and graphic arts labs and a library with an integrated media center. Members of the counseling staff serve as advisors for students and focus on conflict management. Des Moines Abraham Lincoln High School has a school improvement team that consists of teachers, parents and students who develop new goals each year. It is a part of the Des Moines Public Schools.
