Overall

They only gave me back $12 from my $200 deposit fee and claiming it was for gas and I “brought it back on E”. The first time I got a car from there they charged $57 for tolls and that was understandable but over 180$ for some gas??? I wouldn’t rent a car from there anymore! It’s a ripoff and that’s why their rating is so low. Then they try to play you like you don’t know what you’re talking about. Never again.

This is one of the single worst companies I have ever dealt with. Not just car rentals but companies. They bait and switch, they'll rent you a car and have none there when you arrive and their staff is incredibly rude and poorly trained. We were even threatened by a staff memeber at the Denver airport. Avoid the company at ALL COSTS.

I rented a mini-van from E-Z the first week of August, 2015, and was VERY impressed. A long line of folks waiting to rent suddenly showed up and they put FIVE agents at the counter and got us all processed fast. The shuttle was efficient, the car was very nice and the staff friendly. I will use E-Z Denver again for sure! Great price too.

On presentation of my Colorado drivers license at DIA vehicle pickup, I was advised by the male agent that "special terms exist" for Colorado residents because "most locals rent our cars, drive them to California, and never return them!"



On explanation that I maintain a home in Denver and Fort Lauderdale, my destination in Colorado came under scrutiny and my return airline ticket was examined. The male manager and another employee both involved themselves during the time that I explained the aforesaid to the agent; the manager needlessly and angrily reinforced and supported the agent's slanderous statements and shared with me his experiencing of "headache" in dealing with locals. He also stated that EZ Rent-a-car does not rent to Coloradans, claiming that EZ Rent-a-car only rents cars to airline passengers with a return ticket out of Colorado. I was the only customer in the building during this time, and a female employee said to the male agent as she walked past, "if only he (me) knew how many locals steal from us, what they put us through."​



The hateful claims made by three employees of EZ Rent-a-car represent an outrageous assertion of distorted facts.

WATCH OUT THEY WILL GET YOU!!! Like others I should have checked the reviews before renting a car from e-z rent-a-car. I found this company on a discount website and of course it was the cheapest. We waited for ever for the bus to pick us up at the Denver airport then waited again for ever when we got to the facility. Two and half hours after we arrived at the airport we finally got our vehicle. Come to find out later this was the least of our problems! When we returned the vehicle the gentleman said everything looks good and sent us on our way.( my fault for not getting it in writing) Nearly a month later I received a letter in the mail saying there was damage to the vehicle and that I owe them $280.00. WHAT? After trying to make contact with them a number of times with no response I receive another letter threatening to send the claim to collection. Again I try to contact them numerous times with no response. I then have to get the manager of the Denver airport location to get involved just to get someone to call me back. I asked for some proof that I had damaged the vehicle and again nothing but another letter saying I owe them money. Now so much time has gone by that my credit card insurance will not cover the so called damages and instead of fighting the matter in court which would cost me far more in lost time and fees I end up paying out of pocket just to get it behind me. Do yourself a favor and spend a few extra dollars on a reputable company!

My boyfriend and I recently rented a car from here. We returned the car 5 days ago, and we are still getting charges to our bank account. No one can answer why we are still getting charged for a car we haven't had in 5 days! The manager was very rude, and refused to give the name of his supervisor so we could get it handled. Yes, the cars were nice, but a nice car does not compensate for bad customer service. Do NOT use them!!!!!
