Colonoscopy
The Pap smear and HPV test, when called for, are conducted during the pelvic exam portion of your well-woman appointment. Both involve taking a sample of cells for laboratory analysis.

Dr. Scott has nearly two decades of experience using the da Vinci surgical system, a revolutionary surgical platform used to treat common gynecological procedures, including hysterectomy, uterine fibroid removal, and ovarian cyst surgery.
Endometrial Ablation
Endometrial ablation is a method of removing the lining of your uterus. You might need to undergo endometrial ablation if you're experiencing abnormal bleeding or heavy menstrual periods. You may be a candidate for this procedure if hormonal birth control has not sufficiently treated your symptoms, and you aren't considering pregnancy in the future.
Laparoscopy
During a laparoscopy, your provider uses a laparoscope – a slender, flexible tube with a light and camera – that is inserted through a small incision in your abdomen. The laparoscope transmits images to a computer monitor. Your surgeon may make additional incisions to insert small surgical tools to perform the procedure needed, using computer imaging as a guide.
