Osaka Steak House

What is typically our favorite place to eat all change 1hr ago!! I took my 2 children and 1 of their friends out for a early dinner. The cook "JB" & the food was amazing as expected because we often request him to cook our meals, but on the other hand our waitress was very slow, non observant and showed little to no attention! When we finished our meal I received the check and noticed 4 extra sides of noodles we didn't order and GRATUITY added. Really 4 ppl and you add gratuity? I asked the cashier why was it added and I quote "We add it to whomever we want at our discretion because we have to tip the cook" hmmm weird, did she think I was not going to tip? But why? My only guess would be because I'm African American! Yes I believe I was discriminated against. Btw... she only made $11 by doing that when I tipped the cook personally $10 as I always tip the cooks, so she pretty much screwed herself out of a bigger tip!

Horrible, Horrible, Horrible manager. We had a party of 10 with reserveations at 6:30 our entire party was there by 6:15 and ended up with 1 extra adult and 2 extra children for a total of 13. Finally got seated at 6:30 by 6:40 drink, app and dinner orders placed. So far no problem. 6:45 a party of 7 seated at the table behind us, and our soup and salads show up. Still going pretty good. 6:50~6:55 apps for us and soup,salad and apps for table behind us show up. Still going fairly well. 7:00 ~ 7:05 Cook shows up for table of 7 behind us and starts cooking for them. Our table is still not even turned on, haven't seen waitress to order more drinks etc...Now there is an issue. 7:25 ~ 7:30 table behind our's chef is done and they are almost finished eating(remeber they got seated ~15 minutes after us) still no chef at our table. Finally catch a servers attention and ask to speak to the manager. 7:32 manager comes over and I motion to the front by the hostess station outside of the dining area. Once we are out of the dining area I politely ask her why we had been there for over an hour and still not seen the chef yet the table behind us that arrived after us is almost finished eating. At this point the manager started gettin beligerant and pointing her finger in my face saying that I shouldn' t be yelling at her and that I need to listen to her explanation of why, which happened to start with we were'nt all there at our reservation time(First lie), That the table behind us didn't get any appetizers(Second lie), that it is normal to wait an hour before the chef arrives to the table(Third lie) the chef was in back right at that moment making up or food order(Fourth lie). At this point I had had enough and said we were leaving. I walked back to the table and sat down while waiting for the rest of the party to make a decision. I sat for about 5 to 7 minutes and the chef did finally come, and did try to rectify the situation. Unfortunately by this point we as a group got up and left.



If this is what is considered good customer service then I can gurantee that neither I nor any of my friends or family will ever return to this establishment.

Good food, good service. A little pricey but not too bad.
