We are completely thrilled with the beautiful cushions Steve and Peggy made for us. Steve consulted with us on the type of fabric that would meet our needs in the sunroom. He kept us posted on his progress faithfully. Now we can't stop admiring the gorgeous, firm cushions on our loveseat and chair. This is the work of a true craftsman. Thank you, Steve and Peggy!

wow what a place! just picked uped our restored dinning room chairs for my wife's mothers day gift. the care, and attention to detail. from the gluing ,touch up and upholstery. i ran into trouble getting them all in my minivan while she was out . Wow !!!!!!!!!!!! i wish my parents were alive to see the marvelous job you firm has done. i really appreciate your photos as you worked on the items. i am sure we will have more. My brother is planning on driving up his furniture from Connecticut . i want to be clear i called 4 firms and you were the only one that answered at 10 am. You ask for pictures if possible and quickly got back to us with a rough quote. We were able to borrow samples and you even got us a small sample for us to view out of the book. Upright Upholstery is one of the most accommodating and pleasurable businesses I have ever dealt with. My husband had a chair he wanted re-upholstered and the other upholstery shops said they could not do it or quoted me a ridiculous amount of money! Steve offered me several options and did an outstanding job!

The work and care that was provided to recover our furniture by Steve and his family was professional and done with precision. Does a fantastic job at a reasonable price.

I recently had a very old chair that belonged to my husband's family refurbished, recovered and the wood refinished. Steve was really great to work with. He offered assistance with fabric choices and backed off when I wanted to look without assistance. He is knowledgeable, reliable, and talented. The family chair was in ruins, cushions destroyed, wood handles and base broke and dull, fabric torn and worn. The end result is a beautifully restored chair with memories from my husband's childhood that cannot be replaced. We couldn't be happier with the results and would recommend Upright Upholstery to anyone looking for furniture restoration.

Impeccable craftsmanship. Prompt courteous service. Door to door delivery with special care to protect both the pieces that were worked on and the door frames and surfaces of the house. Overall, just a great experience.

Exceptionally happy with the results of my newly upholstered chair. Took a chance with Upright after reading about them on the Internet. Steve took by lowly little early 20th century club chair with broken down springs, spongy seat and tired upholstery and turned it into a jewel. I can't believe the transformation. When I stopped by the first time, I described the look I was hoping for - neutral animal print. Steve knew exactly what I meant and pulled down a sample book with the exact fabric I had envisioned. Left a deposit so Steve could order the fabric, and several weeks later, he let me know I could bring the chair in. After delivering the chair, it only took them a couple weeks to complete. They rebuilt the entire chair, from the fabric, to the springs to the cushion. Since I spent only a $100 for this little chair, I didn't mind investing to get what I wanted. Now I have a vintage quality chair custom made to my liking! Highly recommend Upright for their quality of work!
