A significant improvement in restorative dentistry is the innovation of the tooth-colored filling (also called composite or resin fillings), which has replaced silver mercury fillings (also called amalgam fillings). Mercury is now recognized as a dangerous environmental toxin and as a result is banned for repairing cavities in many countries. Composite and resin fillings are a safe alternative to mercury, and provide a more natural result, so Wheatland Dental Care no longer uses silver fillings. In fact, some patients have even made the choice to replace their old silver fillings with new, long-lasting resin fillings. FASTBRACES® is comprehensive orthodontics, just like traditional braces and not short-term cosmetic orthodontics. Invisalign Orthodontics
You wear each set of Aligners for about 2 weeks, removing them only to eat, drink, brush, and floss. As you replace each aligner with the next in the series, your teeth will move – little by little, week by week – until they have straightened to the final position your Invisalign provider has prescribed.
