        STAY AWAY. Only giving one star because 0 stars isn’t an option. I have worked one block from this location for nearly 8 years. For the first two years I used Comet on Hall religiously and then the standard of care dramatically decreased. Clothing was never returned to me, I received other people’s clothing and was constantly promised a call from management that never came.

        Unfortunately 6 years later my poor husband didn’t know about the terrible service they provide and dropped clothes off for me on his way to work. A week later I noticed two articles of mine missing. I called up to the cleaners and they said “oh you never picked up your clothes”. Refusing to admit that they’d forgotten to return them all (they were in the same order...you don’t pull out your clothing checklist and tick them each off when you pick up dry cleaning...). After letting my husband know never to go back there again, as this was 100% in line with their previous lack of professionalism, he decided to inventory what items he’d picked up for himself. We received several shirts that belonged to someone else, and his suits were hung on hangers as a matching set, but the pants for one was missing and the jacket for the other. How do you even do that?!?! We have now gone up there 3 times (again being promised a call from management) and held numerous calls with employees. One of whom told us, “oh you had that guys shirts, he can me in the other day and we paid him back for them”. Must be nice. We were offered nothing. Not even store credit that we would never use. They supposedly lost all record of our order (how convenient). So now my husband has to replace not one, but two suits.

        Do yourself a favor and don’t come here. Sunrise Cleaners on Oaklawn is incredible and has the best customer service and helpful staff. And I’d venture they’d own up to mistakes, if they ever made any.

        TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE! This store has ruined two pieces of clothing, overcharged for drapes cleaning and on top of that the drapes shrink! They are very pleasant people when you pay for their expensive cleaning but TERRIBLE customer service when it comes to be accountable for their mistakes. DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM!

        Poor customer service. Dropped off for same day service and came to pick up at 6pm, they decided to hold a piece without calling or consulting me.

        When I brought this to the attention of the manager he told me, when you run your own dry cleaners you can make those calls.

        What happened to customer service?
        We get the right to choose where we do business and treating people in this manner without the common courtesy or respect to allow me to choose if you hold a piece that I needed for same day service.

        My cat peed on my brand new comforter and sheets so I took it to Comet. When I pulled up I asked how much it was going to cost because I didn't want to spend a ton of money. I was told it would be $30 and would take 2 days. When I went to pick it up I was charged over $60. I went in to ask why it was so much and they told me it was $30 for the comforter and $15 for each sheet. I explained that I was not told that and I would not have dropped my sheets off had a I known that. The manager then said he could give me a credit on my next order that was 10% of the cost of the sheets...so $3. I told him not to bother that I wouldn't be back...and I won't. To add to that when I got my (brand new) comforter home I discovered that it was now horribly lumpy all over and had a completely different texture. Please save yourself the trouble and go somewhere else!

        I have been to several cleaners in the area, and this is the first place that I found with excellent service. I brought in my dress with a stain that I didn't think would come out. I was concerned being that this is my favorite dress... so I asked to speak to the manager. He took a look at it, and althought he couldn't promise it would come out. He said that he felt confident in getting out the stain. After taking it to two other cleaners that had turned me down that day. I felt good about leaving my dress in his hands. When I came to pick up the dress. The stain was gone! I will not be going anywhere else. This is the place to go for service!
