Wedding Shower

I'm not even sure where to begin. When I started talking to Youche about my

Wedding shower til the time I actually had my shower they went through 4 different event coordinators (Georgia, Jamie, Jackie and Heidi). After Jamie left is when the nightmare began. Jackie never returned emails nor phone calls. Finally when I did get her on the phone she pretty much blew me off and told me to contact her at the end of October beginning of November since when I got ahold of her in the summer she was too busy to worry about a Feb 1st event. Ok rude but I'm a reasonable person so I let yet another thing go since we went over all the details on the phone and would be meeting in a few months. So of course I follow up, to my surprise Heidi is now in the role but not available to take my call. At that point I lose it and burst into tears demanding to speak with a manager. The manager tells me how great Heidi is and how I'll have no issues with her. At this point I wasn't about to believe anyone from Youche. But what could I do? Lose my $500 deposit to this inept establishment? So I waited for Heidi to call me and she did. To my dismay she told me their were no records of any details from my event. Oh joy, I get to explain everything all over again to a 4th person. So during our call Heidi asked me to email her all of my info and she would get back to me the next week to set up a time for me to come in and speak to her and do a tasting. I wasn't shocked when I received no follow up. So I called and left her a voicemail followed up by an email. 24 hours later still no call back. So I called again, got her voicemail and called right back to speak to a manager. Heidi then called me back a few hours later claiming she never got my emails. By the end of the conversation my emails "magically" appeared. Ugh!! We set up a tasting. The tasting went smoothly and I was feeling relieved!! Until Heidi tried to charge me higher prices than what the menu & Jackie had stated and a 6% higher gratuity rate. After I showed her in writing where she was wrong she said she would honor what I was previously told. From that point on Heidi was really short & snappy with me. The day my head count was due I couldn't reach Heidi she said she wasn't in til the evening so she'd call me then, then I got an email saying she'd be in touch even later then finally she said the next day then it wasn't even her who called it was the banquet manager (she was really nice). So by the following Monday I had gotten a couple cancellations, I just confirmed with Heidi that since we were being charged for the meals since it was after the 2 week final head count that we would be given the meals to take home. She said yes. The day of the shower we had about 20 cancellations as it was a super snowy day. During the event the staff was excellent!! Minus Heidi since she wasn't ANYWHERE to be found!! At the end I requested my to go meals. I received the sandwiches but hardly any of the salad and zero soup!! The soup was an additional $2 per person so $40 of soup that they refused to package up. They claimed they didn't have a container to send it home in, but I saw with my own eyes that they most certainly did have containers. So I left disgusted. They are liars and Youche must not be a quality employer considering they can't keep employees. The room is nice the banquet staff was great but I would never consider or recommend Youche for anything. My sister in laws and I will be having kids soon and I would have loved to have had our respective showers at Youche but after all if this, never!!! BEWARE
