Fluoride Treatment

Root Canal Treatment
A root canal treatment is designed to remove the infection and decay that has occurred within the root canal of a tooth. Infected nerves in teeth can be very painful, and it’s important to have them treated before the infection grows. Inside the tooth is a soft tissue that commonly becomes inflamed or infected and causes pain for individuals. A crack or chip in the tooth and a tooth injury are just some of the reasons as to why the soft tissue can become damaged.

Deep Cleaning
Periodontal scaling and root planning is used to treat gum disease. Anesthesia is used to anesthetize and numb the areas so the hygienist can effectively clean around the tooth and underneath the gum tissue. An ultrasonic scaler with water as well as an antimicrobial rinse is used to gently remove the calculus and bacteria. Your other teeth are also not changed in any way with a dental implant. This is untrue for bridges which require the shaving down of adjacent teeth or dentures which require a metal clasp to the adjacent teeth.
