Giant Food

Friendly staff but inventory is weak - routinely out of many items. Definitely under-staffed when there's only two registers open with 6-10 customers waiting in line..on a Saturday or Sunday.

i've never even been here. i'm just hungry. i want some food. there's a motorcycle outside my front window that keeps going back and forth and i get cranky when i get hungry

This is the worst store. I have been shopping at Giant for 45 years, and this is NOT Giant! The shelves are never stocked, and there is no selection. If you don't want the store brand in many, many products, you are out of luck, and I have found that the store brand is of the lowest quality. Then seemingly to rub it in, as you check out, they ask if you found everything you wanted. If you tell the checker that you did not find what you wanted, they say "oh". To me this is the most annoying thing, why rub it in? They carry half of the products that Giant used to carry, and you had better check dates carefully, products, especially meat are often put of date. I have even bought carrots that were slimy and out of date. Who knew that carrots had a date, but they do, and you had better check it.

The pharmacy staff is very helpful and the wait time for prescriptions is typically minimal

Staff is VERY friendly in this Giant and the produce people are always working so diligently every time I go in there and they are always so nice with an up beat attitude. They make grocery shopping a better experience than usual. Thanks, Centre Park Giant!
