Ruler Foods

I normally have a great experience at this store, but I stopped in at 6:30 PM and as I always shop for two weeks at a time. I had a cart full and no one at the register. A tired appearing cashier stepped around the and pointed me to her line.

She made an audible sigh as she walked around. I just took a deep breath and started to unload my cart. She stated “$h1*” under her breath, but I heard her. I continued to just ignore the unprofessional behavior and tried to think she had a a bad day. After she audibly sighed louder again, I stopped unloading and looked up and asked her if everything is alright as it was obviously not for her. She said gave me a sarcastic “yeah”. I decided to ignore her childish behavior. It was obvious I interrupted her maybe heading to a break or something. I get people have bad days or need to go to the bathroom or something, but when I come to a place and give service I do expect professionalism and respect.

I’m very disappointed and enough to say something about it. I myself had a rough day prior to my shopping trip. I lost someone very dear to me today. I stopped in to get my groceries out of the way and distract myself with a list bigger than me to do. I didn’t need it nor am I happy about my experience, but I wasn’t rude to her and in fact I wished her a better night.

I visited the Ruler Foods store in Collinsville, IL. I went in to purchase protein bars. AeishLynn was my cashier. She was amazingly helpful, and knowledgeable. I had some questions about keeping stock of protein bars. Another store I went to, stopped carrying them or are always out. She also was very helpful discussing the meat department. I have a Ruler close to where I live also. I have to say, she rocks. Ruler Foods need more of her. I've never experienced cashier putting my items in my bag either. Polite, Knowledgeable, Smiles. She has my vote for Collinsville store. I even told my whole family about how pleasant my visit was. Thank You AeishLynn. Thanks for going above and beyond.
