I had a painful infection on my finger tip that needed urgent attention. Rather than go to the emergency room the local hospital I went to the Cooper Urgent Care. I was quite surprised that there was very little weight and the sign-in process was smooth and efficient. Staff was professional and courteous. The doctor was also prompt courteous and professional. She numbed the finger and drained the wound and got me on my way within 45 minutes in and out the door. Thank you cooper!

This place is not somewhere I will not go to unless absolutely necessary. The staff on my recent visit were rude and seemed to treat me like I was an inconvenience to them. The person who registered didn't even smile and barely made eye contact with me. The doctor seemed rushed and dismissive

When I called back 2 days later to say I wasn't feeling any better the nurse told me it was viral and that I would not feel better. I went back 2day, Saturday, @435pm. They closed at 5pm. I told the technician (name? ) I felt bad still. She told me that the doctor was busy with another patient and wasn't going to have time to see me. I was told to come back 2morrow. Ha! I am a nurse and know that I should have been seen since they were still open. Now I need to delay my treatment another day. Not only that I feel just as sick as the first time I was seen.

This is unacceptable.

Overall
collections agencies because t...

Visit Cooper Urgent Care today if you are looking to be billed in error and sent to collections agencies because they are incompetent!!!

This happened to both me and my boyfriend on three separate occasions. Each time I called it was, "Oh, I see that you made the payment while in the office, but it wasn't applied correctly. I will have my supervisor look into it and get it taken care of." Months later I start getting harassed by their collections agency.

In my boyfriend's case, he was told to stop back in within three days of his first appointment if the treatment he was provided was not sufficient, and it would be considered a "follow up appointment" which would be free. Months later and he gets a bill for $300. Tried to fight it but they "have no way of proving that it was considered a follow up appointment". He talked to supervisor after supervisor who all promised that they would get it fixed. As you guess it, he's out $300 after either being told incorrect information, or just because someone in the billing department was not doing their job correctly. Take your pick here -- everyone's incompetent, so any guess as to who's at fault will likely be correct.

Do not go here if you value your sanity (and money!).

EXCELLENT! My son was home alone while I was at work. He was playing football with some friends, when a friend fell on his collarbone. He walked all the way home and called me in tears. We rushed to Cooper Urgent Care to see if it was still open, and because it was the closest urgent care to us. THANK GOD we did! We were seen IMMEDIATELY. The doctor wasn't happy with the first view, as she saw something suspicious and wanted another angle. She then was able to get Coopers Orthopedic Surgeon, as well as Coopers Pediatrician on the phone while we were there. They determined we needed to head over to Cooper to get a CAT Scan. Nothing was broken, but my son was in too much pain to just send home with drugs, plus, they were suspicious that he had dislocated the clavicle from the sternum posteriorly. The doctor was able to tell the ER docs that we were on our way, and our wait in the ER was only a few minutes. In fact, the entire time from when we got to the Urgent Care, to our own room in the ER was less than 2 hours (and that includes the half-hour travel time) My son had to be admitted and required surgery the following morning to repair the dislocation.

Upon doing some online research, this is a rare injury that often goes diagnosed, it's even harder to find a surgeon that has had experience with this injury. Not only did the Urgent Care doctor correctly diagnose my sons injury, we were able to immediately go to a surgeon who had actually DONE the surgery multiple times before! Through the whole process, everyone we came in contact with was fantastic, friendly, and very patient with my very scared and worried son. I am happy to say he is expected to have a full and complete recovery and will be back playing football by the Fall!

We will not hesitate to go back to Cooper Urgent Care should we ever find ourselves in this unfortunate position again.

*On a side note. My son is currently uninsured. The entire Urgent Care visit only cost $200, including the x-rays!
