DHLC is an amazing place to work, full of positivity and happy teachers. The laughter among the staff says it all , they are honestly happy and there for the right reasons. The children of DHLC are in great hands!

These people do not give a crap about children. The teachers cuss around the children and are rough with them. The director is just after your money and so is the owner. The staff is far from “nurturing”. They are in it just for the check as well. I used to work here and couldn’t believe how terrible those teachers were to those children. I also couldn’t believe how the directors knew about it and did absolutely nothing about it. Please don’t send your child here.

I own this business and want to say, please come in and see for yourself. (We've never had an employee by the name of Tee D.) We offer an open door for tours and parents to drop in. We prefer tours from 9-3 in order to serve you better. We have a very calm and fun learning environment and strive everyday to be professional and uphold all State and local regulations. Our dynamic learning environment has achieved great things for young children. Most of our Pre-K read at the 1.5 level as they enter Kindergarten. Come meet our loving and nurturing staff!

My child spent 2 Days in the infant room and caught hand, foot, and mouth. There were NO signs posted that there was a case reported!!! They put infants in bumbo chairs that aren't developmentally ready and leave them by themselves. If a child can't hold their head up on their own then they shouldn't be in this chair! The teachers put toys and blankets in their cribs that are against state regulation and I had to remove a blanket from a child's face twice because there was only one teacher in the room for six to seven infants. There is only one teacher there from 6 am to 9 am that clearly cannot manage all of the infants on her own and shouldn't because it is more than the state allows. The turnover rate is awful! The director Margie is a nightmare and shouldn't be trusted. I could write more about what we experienced in the two days, but I think my point is coming across. Don't send your child/children here!!!

awesome daycare I have heard only good about them and I now work for them

Took my kid in to register her a week before I start my new job and did explained that will be only full time for couple of weeks until I will have a sitter (and then only be part time) and I will bring her back again full time when the new school year starts and also bring my other kid here for aftercare. They were very friendly and nice and they accepted these conditions. I gave them a check (Registration, first week and last week deposit). I took my daughter in the first week and over the weekend I found out that my new job (contract) has been postponed , so I went back on Monday and explain that I can not bring my daughter back until I start the job (indefinitely for now),since I have no way to pay until I start having an income. So what I've requested is to get the last week amount back and as soon as I start my job I will bring her back. Now instead of being the same nice and friendly people they were when I registered and gave them the money they become very rude and started bringing up policies like "2 weeks notice", "security deposit" and other crap...I even contacted the owner Ms. Wann and she did not wanted to take in consideration my situation either (even thou they accepted my initial conditions). Now I would not even trust them to take care of my kid, they are not trustworthy at all! They only care until they take your money.
